Back in the day gyms weren’t as accessible as they are today especially outside the city. My dad had a workshop in the yard abound 100 yards way from the house, which meant we had to get up, dressed and out of the house to work out. In the “shop” we set up our Joe Weider bench, the Joe Weider gold cast weight set, an arm blaster, curl bar and started working out every morning before school.

We never referred to the shop as our gym, but a few years later once we got Baby G’s up and running, we realized the commitment to working out & weight training all started there, thus recognizing our start came within Baby G’s Bicep & Body Shop.
